Refund Policy for Marvelous Mannered K9s of Texas

Welcome to Marvelous Mannered K9s of Texas. We take great pride in providing healthy, well-trained puppies. Please read our refund policy carefully, as it is tailored specifically for the sale of our puppies.

Overview

At Marvelous Mannered K9s of Texas (MMK9TX), we strive to ensure each puppy is placed in a loving and responsible home. Due to the unique nature of live animals, our refund policy differs from standard retail purchases.

Refund Policy Within 7 Days of Purchase

  • If, for any reason (other than accident or injury), you must return the puppy within 7 days of purchase, we will refund the purchase price minus a $500 non-refundable deposit.

  • Health Exam Requirement: Before returning the puppy, a licensed veterinarian must conduct a health examination to confirm that the puppy is in good health.

  • The puppy must be returned in the same condition as when it left MMK9TX, along with all health records and training materials provided.

  • Transportation costs for returns are the buyer’s responsibility and non-refundable.

Refund Policy Due to Puppy Loss

  • In the unfortunate event that your puppy passes away and you request a refund:

    • A necropsy performed by a qualified veterinarian (at your expense) is required to determine the cause of death.

    • If the cause of death is determined to be a congenital/genetic issue or an illness present at the time of purchase, we will refund the full purchase price.

Exclusions from Refund Eligibility

Refunds will not be issued under the following circumstances:

  • Accidents, injuries, or illnesses acquired after pickup.

  • Failure to provide a veterinarian health exam within 72 hours of pickup.

  • Failure to follow recommended health guidelines, including but not limited to:

    • Not continuing NuVet vitamins or TLC Puppy Food as required for health guarantees.

    • Using Banfield Pet Hospital or VCA as the primary veterinarian.

Exchange Policy

  • Exchanges are only applicable if the puppy shows signs of Parvo or Distemper within 4 days of purchase and is confirmed by a licensed veterinarian through a blood test. (Do not trust a Snap Test!)

  • If eligible, a replacement puppy of equal value will be provided. However, transportation costs for the replacement puppy will be the buyer’s responsibility.

Lifetime Rehoming Guarantee

  • If you are unable to care for your puppy at any point during its lifetime, we will accept the puppy back. While no refund will be provided, we guarantee a safe and loving rehoming process.

Late or Missing Refunds

  • If you haven’t received a refund:

    1. Recheck your bank account.

    2. Contact your credit card company (processing times may vary).

    3. Contact your bank (some processing time is typical).

Transportation for Returns

  • To return your puppy, you should deliver to: MMK9TX Address
    Transportation costs are non-refundable.

  • We recommend using a reputable transortation service and purchasing insurance for returns, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive the returned puppy otherwise.
